Why can’t music shows in America be like thoughs in Korea?

So here i am again writing another thought on American Media. So today i was watching a re-run of 106&Park and was wondering how come american music shows do not invest enough into their sets as japanese and korean shows do. If you watch any performance from inkigayo or music core the sets are often elaborate and change frequently while on Trl and 106 and Park change like 3 times a year. The nearest thing we have to amazing sets like that is FNMTV which by itself i think is a little Mcountdown inspired. Also another thing when you watch Trl and other shows you are less likely to see any music performances while in japan and korea is like the law to have at least one artist perform. So why can some please tell me why?
